Safedisk - Secure data, easy.
Having the data stored in a secure and safe way, is something often associated with advanced procedures, expensive software and a difficult interface. Today's solutions are based on encryption and unlocking by using passwords. This may induce a problem for users who often have several passwords to remember, which again result in users ending up with poor and low security passwords.
Safedisk utilizes smart technology based on SMS, Internet, encryption, and proprietary software that helps users to open encrypted disks without the need long and complicated password, or a need to remember the user name, e-mail address, etc.
Safedisk is based encrypted disks that use a secure connection over the Internet to authenticate against a secure server. The user needs only to remember their mobile number and have a cellphone in the immediate vicinity. Safedisk also offers an offline version that automatically starts if the access to a specific server is not available, this is also based on SMS authentication.
Who can use Safedisk?
Safedisk requires no training, users can visit www.safedisk.no and see a 30 seconds long video showing how to use the product. Simply, plug in Safedisk device, click start and enter your cell number.
Safedisk control panel
With internet access you can manage all devices in your organization by using a single interface. You can add users, change permissions, lock devices, adjust pin lifetime and even leave a message to the next user that tries to open a locked device.
Using our advanced control panel for administrators, you can also group devices and users, so you can easily distribute the Safedisk devices within projects, groups, etc. You can also lock the disk location, which means that a Safedisk device e.g. only will be able to use in office locations and/or other locations.
Secure communication with Safedisk.no
The communication between the Safedisk device and server is secured by the use of powerful 256-bit encryption, while our system meets the requirements for running vulnerability analysis in accordance with the PCI DDS; this is weekly verified by Netcraft Ltd.
Safe and secure software
Safedisk utilizes encryption type AES-256 and running on software that is approved Microsoft ® Authenticode ®. This codesigning certificate generates a digital signature and provides authentication of the source code and insurance of code integrity.
